Magical Smiles Point Cook uses HICAPS, so most private health fund benefits are worked out and claimed electronically while you're still at reception.
At the end of your appointment, the front desk swipes your card, tells you what your fund covered and what's left, and you pay the gap there and then. We accept most major private health funds through HICAPS; bring your card with you.

SuperCare: early access to your own super.
If a larger or urgent treatment plan is still out of reach, SuperCare may help. It's a service that helps eligible people apply for early release of part of their own superannuation, on compassionate grounds, to pay for dental treatment.
It isn't a loan, and Magical Smiles doesn't approve or manage it. Applications are assessed individually under rules set by the Australian Taxation Office.

How the estimate is worked out
It uses indicative treatment prices published on our site plus the Humm or National Dental Plan fees for the term you pick, spread evenly across a fortnightly plan. It doesn't allow for your clinical needs, fund rebates or the provider's approval criteria.

Eligible children can be treated under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), which covers up to $1,158 of basic dental services over two calendar years (or $1,132 if their two-year period began in 2025). Check your child's available balance through your Medicare online account in myGov, and ask the Point Cook team to confirm eligibility when you book.
